There are two types of dentures; complete and partial dentures. Complete dentures are used when all teeth are missing while partial dentures are used to replace a few missing teeth. What does getting dentures entail?
The process of getting dentures requires several weeks and several dentist appointments. During the initial dentist visit, highly accurate teeth impression and measurements are taken and used to develop custom dentures. You may have to several try in appointments to ensure that the dentures are of the right fit, color and shape. During the final fitting appointment, the dentist adjusts the dentures accordingly to ensure that they resemble a natural and the fit comfortably.
